BIG RAPIDS (WWJ/AP) - Ferris State University’s Board of Trustees has voted to increase tuition at the Big Rapids school by 2.5 percent.

Under the terms of the increase, full-time undergraduates will pay $357 per credit hour. That’s an increase of $9.

The school said tuition at Kendall College of Art and Design was raised by 2.5 percent, while some smaller, more personalized courses will see tuition grow by 4.9 percent, Mlive.com reported.

Ferris State boosted tuition by 5.1 percent last year.
