Lansing's IDV, Brazil's Allen Partner On Security Software

LANSING -- The Lansing security visualization software provider IDV Solutions and the Rio de Janeiro IT services provider Allen said Tuesday that they plan to jointly develop opportunities in Brazil's growing security market.

IDV Solutions' Visual Command Center is software that helps organizations visualize risks to their employees, assets, and operations. By integrating information about external sources of risk from natural disasters, weather, and crime with internal physical security data, companies and public safety organizations gain a comprehensive, global to ground-level view of risk and security.

With more than 1,100 employees, operations in 10 cities, and 25 of 27 Microsoft competencies, Allen is one of Brazil's most experienced and respected IT and security integration companies.

"With Brazil's fast-growing economy, numerous global companies, and upcoming international events, private companies and public safety organizations there need a solution to help them manage threats," said Mark Morrison, CEO of IDV Solutions. "Allen is already recognized by these organizations as a leader in technology solutions and security. They are an ideal partner to deploy Visual Command Center to help their customers protect people, assets, and operations."

Added Cristiano Alencastro, Allen's director for partnerships and alliances: "With major sporting events like the World Cup and Olympics upcoming, Brazil will be at the center of the world stage. The country needs to adopt technologies that support the new era that begins with these big events. Visual Command Center and Visual Fusion allow us to create solutions appropriate to current needs of Brazil. Visual Command Center is an indispensable tool for security management that aggregates the available data sources and transforms them into actionable visual information."
