'Adults Only' Ice Cream Truck Comes To Detroit, Ann Arbor

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream. But this truck bearing ice cold goodies isn't open for everyone.

It's for adults only.

After a nationwide vote by fans, Detroit was named one of the 10 cities to receive a visit from the special-edition "Adults Only" DOVE Ice Cream Truck. It will pull into town Friday, June 29.

Instead of the usual bombsicles and orange creamsicles, this one will have creamy, rich chocolate folded over cold vanilla ice cream.

And instead of kiddie music, visitors will be treated to a free five-minute back and neck massage by a licensed massage therapist and a free manicure.

It happens beginning at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the corner of Cadillac Square and Woodward in Detroit, next to Campus Martius Park.

Then it moves to Ann Arbor: Beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, the truck will be parked at Meijer, 3145 Ann Arbor – Saline Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103

The truck will keep selling DOVE bars until they run out of them, so it's first come, first serve.
