Man Missing From Pontiac Assisted Living

PONTIAC (WWJ) - Authorities in Pontiac are searching for a 70-year-old man who walked away from an assisted living home.

Officials with Grovecrest Assisted Living told The Oakland County Sheriff's office that Jackie Gordon was last seen at around 10:45 a.m. on Sunday and it was the second time he had walked away that day.

His guardian reported that his behavior has been getting "increasingly unstable," and that he did not take with him his medication to help control his mental health issues.

Gordon is described as a white male with white hair, a white beard and white goatee. He was last seen wearing a dark gray t-shirt and red pajama bottoms.

He has no relatives in the area.
