I do not care what the rankings say. With his win this weekend, his third of the year, Tiger Woods is once again the top golfer in the world. No one else has even won twice.
Having said that, we have indeed seen this movie before. Immediately after his first two wins this year he folded up like a tent at both The Masters and The U.S. Open, literally choking down the stretch of both.
We are three weeks to the third major of the year- The British Open. In his last three majors TIGER’S best is a tie for 21. He has not come close to winning a major in over four years. It certainly remains to be seen if he can put a stop to this ugly trend later this month.
