Royal Oak Garage Sale Is This Weekend

ROYAL OAK (CBS Detroit) Looking for antique furniture, or maybe some unique handmade jewelry, perhaps an exotic rug for your house?

There's one place where you can get it all: The 37th Annual Royal Oak Garage Sale.

The sale brings everything from household items and jewelry to knick-knacks, clothes and estate sale treasures to downtown Royal Oak. The sale happens 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday inside the Lafayette Avenue Parking Structure, between 5th and 6th.

It's billed as the world's biggest garage sale event, with floors and floors of new arts and crafts and vintage goodies. Up to 14,000 people are expected. Admission is $2 for shoppers 12 and over.
