High Chairs Recalled After Injury Reports

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - A warning for parents -- check your kid's high-chair.

More than 485,000 Chicco Polly high chairs are being recalled after a design flaw led to children getting cuts and bruises. Importer Artsana USA says they know of 21 kids getting injured from falling against pegs on the back legs of the chairs. Four children got cuts

serious enough to require stitches, and one had a scratched cornea.

The high-chairs were made in China and sold at major chains including Babies R Us, Burlington Coat Factory, Buy Buy Baby, Shopko and Toys R Us, as well as online outlets including Albeebaby.com, Amazon.com, Babyage.com, Babysupermart.com, Diapers.com and Target.com.
