Man Dies In Shooting At Inkster Apartment Complex

INKSTER (WWJ) – Police say a 20-year-old Detroit man was killed during an early morning shooting at an apartment complex in Inkster.

Police say they responded to a call about shots fired around 2:30 a.m. Thursday at an apartment complex on Cherry Hill Trail near Henry Ruff.

When officers arrived, they found Brian Watts lying in the parking lot next to a car. Watts was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Watts was at the apartment visiting relatives, but have not released a motive in the shooting. No arrests have yet been made.
