1. Justin Verlander. pitcher, Detroit Tigers – Every time he pitches, Verlander is literally a threat to throw a no hitter. It doesn’t get any more thrilling than that.
2. Mike Trout, outfielder, Los Angeles Angels – Seldom in the history of baseball has a player with the legitimate five-tool skills of Mike Trout emerged.
3. Andrew McCutchen, outfielder, Pittsburgh Pirates – He is hitting .369 with power and is a tremendous defensive center fielder. Like Trout, a tremendous five-tool talent.
