YPSILANTI (WWJ) - Authorities in Washtenaw County are alerting the public to be on the lookout for a man who is wanted for armed robbery.

Police are looking for 30-year-old Frederick Shaw. They say he’s wanted in connection with an armed robbery shooting incident that occurred on March 6 on Hewitt Road in Ypsilanti Township.

Investigators say Shaw has several tattoos including “Hot” on right forearm, “Boy” on left forearm, “West Side” on center abdomen, “Grim Reaper” on left bicep, “Sixx-0” on back and “South Maple” on arm.

Shaw is currently on parole in Washtenaw County for a 2007 offense of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to Shaw’s arrest.
