LANSING (AP) – There’s now a smartphone version of the state’s Michigan Voter Information Center to provide election information.

Secretary of State Ruth Johnson on Thursday announced the offering ahead of next week’s primary. The website is designed to be easier to view on a smartphone.

Users may access voter registration information, sample ballots, an election calendar, absentee voter information and instructions on how to use voting equipment.

They also may find information about their local clerk’s office and polling place.
