97.1 The Ticket Fantasy Football Convention

Join 97.1 The Ticket on Saturday,  August 25th at Fifth Avenue Sports and Entertainment in Royal Oak for the 97.1 The Ticket Fantasy Football Convention.  Admission to the event is free.

Doors open at 10:30 am and the panel discussions start at 11:15 am.  The panel discussion schedule is as follows:

11:15 am - 12:00 pm
Doug Karsch, Scott Anderson and Dennis Fithian
Karsch and Anderson, along with Riger will give their insight into the upcoming NFL season and will answer audience questions.

12:15 pm - 1:00 pm
Terry Foster, Stoney and Riger
Foster and Stoney will give their take on which teams and players to watch during the NFL season and will answer questions form the attendees.

1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Mike Valenti  and Matt Dery
Valenti will break down everything fantasy football related.  He will provide attendees with overall draft strategies including #1 pick strategies and trends in drafting.  Attendees will learn how to pick positions and who the sleepers and busts are this year.  Valenti will also break down his own fantasy picks.

During the event, Pat Caputo will broadcast from 10 am - 2 pm and 97.1 The Ticket will be giving away great prizes such as a big screen TV, a Calvin Johnson autographed jersey and other Lions merchandise, sports memorabilia and gift cards.
