Just Too Much Rain For Bay City Fair To Continue

BAY CITY (AP) - It was canceled because of too much rain.

The Bay County Fair in Bay City lasted just three of five days. Rain that began falling Friday was just too much for the fairgrounds.

At least four rides were not accessible because of flooding. The fair opened to the public Tuesday and was supposed to run through Saturday.

Animal and craft shows did take place, including poultry, pig, cow, and goat competitions.
