Bachelor's Degree Classes Available At St. Clair County CC University Center

PORT HURON -- Registration is open for fall classes in numerous bachelor's degree programs through the University Center at St. Clair County Community College.

Five colleges and universities are offering classes this fall on SC4's Port Huron campus. Ferris State University and Saginaw Valley State University classes begin the week of Aug. 27. Madonna University, University of Michigan-Flint and Walsh College classes begin in September.

Classes are available in these programs:

• Ferris State University -- Bachelor of science in criminal justice and bachelor of science in business administration with a professional track in hospitality and tourism.
• Madonna University -- Bachelor of science in child development.
• Saginaw Valley State University -- Bachelor of arts in elementary education, elementary teacher certification program and secondary teacher certification program.
• University of Michigan-Flint -- Bachelor of arts in psychology and bachelor of science in nursing (RN to BSN).
• Walsh College --- Bachelor of business administration in accounting processes and bachelor of business administration in management.

Founded in 1923, St. Clair County Community College serves students with a variety of on-campus and online classes. The college offers associate degrees, certificate programs, programs that transfer to four-year colleges and universities, and short-term job training. Through its university partners, the college makes bachelor's degrees available locally. The college's main campus is in downtown Port Huron with satellite centers at Algonac, Croswell, Peck and Yale.
