WINTER STORM AFTERMATH: SNOWFALL TOTALS | TRAFFICRADAR | FLIGHT TRACKERSCHOOL CLOSINGS

FARMINGTON (WWJ) – An arrest has been made in connection with a rash of vehicle robberies in Farmington.

Police said a 21-year-old Taylor man is in custody in Southgate and expected to be charged by Monday with receiving and concealing stolen property. The Chatham Hills subdivision near Grand River and Halstead has been targeted — and police are investigating to find out if the suspect was also involved with other thefts in the community.

Vehicles that were targeted were unlocked and items taken included purses, golf clubs and GPS systems along with some loose change.

The suspect’s name was not immediately released.
