Automation Alley’s Kelly Kozlowski promoted to director of public affairs: Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology business association, announces that Kelly Kozlowski has been promoted to director of public affairs. Kozlowski previously served as the business accelerator client coordinator and communications officer at Automation Alley. Kozlowski’s new responsibilities include governmental affairs and economic development, as well as public relations and communications. Kozlowski has been employed at Automation Alley since July 2010, when she joined the staff as business accelerator client coordinator, adding the role of communications officer in February 2011. In that dual role, Kozlowski worked closely with Automation Alley’s entrepreneurial clients while helping to develop and execute Automation Alley’s communications and marketing plan. Her responsibilities included serving as staff liaison to Automation Alley’s technology committee in 2010 and as staff liaison to the finance committee from 2011-2012. On behalf of Automation Alley, she is also involved in the Blackstone LaunchPad programs at Wayne State University and Walsh College. Further involvement during her time at Automation Alley has included participation in the ACE planning committee from 2010-2012 and the Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition marketing committee from 2011-2012. Kozlowski has assisted in the development and execution of multiple advertising campaigns at Automation Alley, as well as the production of Automation Alley’s annual reports and technology industry reports.
