Lions Legend Is Back In Town With BBQ

Billy Sims is bringing Oklahoma barbecue to the D. The former Lions RB is in town this week to open his new restaurant in Southfield, Billy Sims BBQ.
It is located on Telegraph road just north of 10 mile. Today our webmaster, Evan Jankens, and I were invited to the media event before the grand opening on Friday. We were given a sample of pulled pork sandwiches and a side. I had the baked beans, which were very good, and Evan went with the potato salad. We both were impressed. The pulled pork had very good taste and the atmosphere at this location was very good. We had the chance to meet Billy and talk some football with him and he could not have been nicer. It is great to have him back in town.
