MAB Elects New Board Of Directors, Officers

The Michigan Association of Broadcasters (MAB) elected their 2012-2013 Board of Directors and Officers during the Summer Celebration and MAB Annual Meeting August 20 at the Motor City Casino Hotel in Detroit.

  • Chairman, Trey Fabacher, Vice President & General Manager, WWJ-TV/WKBD-TV CBS Television, Detroit
  • Vice Chairman/Chairman-Elect, Tim Feagan, General Manager, Clear Channel West Michigan
  • Secretary/Treasurer, Jill Saarela, Vice President/CEO, Barrington Broadcasting, Traverse City
  • At-Large Director, Chris Warren, General Manager, Midwestern Broadcasting, Traverse City
  • Immediate Past Chairman, Duane Alverson, President, MacDonald Broadcasting, Saginaw/Lansing

Members elected for their first full-term include:

  • Director, Gary Baxter, Vice-President/General Manager, WSYM-TV, Lansing
  • Director, Peter Tanz, Vice-President, Midwest Communications, Michigan
  • Director, Peter Veto, General Manager, WJRT-TV, Flint

Board members who have been elected for a second term include:

  • Vice Chairman/Chairman-Elect, Tim Feagan, General Manager, Clear Channel West Michigan
  • Director, Bob Peters, General Sales Manager, WCZY-FM/WMMI-AM, Mt. Pleasant
