Logic Solutions, Genisys CU Develop Mobile Banking App, Including Mobile Check Deposit
ANN ARBOR — Logic Solutions and Genisys Credit Union announced the launch of the Genisys Mobile Banking app for Apple devices.
The app enables credit union members to check balances and view transaction history, transfer money between accounts or to any Genisys member, deposit checks, view rates, use calculators, and search for ATM and branch locations.
Logic Solutions and the bank said the app is fully encrypted and equipped to guard against unauthorized access.
“When developing our new iPhone app, it was important for us to add features that would enhance our members’ banking experience,” said Jackie Buchanan, Genisys CEO. “We wanted members to be able to bank with Genisys wherever they go.”
Genisys Credit Union is one of the largest credit unions in Michigan, with 132,000 members and more than $1.4 billion in assets.
“More than 40 million Americans currently use mobile banking apps to help manage their finances, so it’s clear that mobile technology is radically changing the way consumers engage with financial institutions,” said Logic Solutions CEO Jimmy Hsiao. “Secure and straightforward apps are a key factor for consumers when deciding to join or leave a credit union.”
Genisys Mobile Banking is available free in the App Store. Genisys and Logic Solutions said an Android version would be released later this year.
Genisys Credit Union is based in Auburn Hills and was established in 1936. It has 25 branch locations, 4,000 shared branches and more than 28,000 shared surcharge-free ATMs.
