6-Year-Old Detroit Boy Missing Since July

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are looking for a missing 6-year-old boy.

Riley Vance was last seen on July 30 on West Chicago in Detroit when he was picked up by his biological father, 24-year-old Rico Vance.

Investigators say the father agreed to return the child on August 3 to the custodial mother, but failed to do so. The father has not responded to mother's telephone calls and police have not been able to located him.

Riley is described as three feet tall, 45 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and a medium brown complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a Spiderman logo, blue jeans, and red/black/white Nike gym shoes.

Police said the boy is in good physical and mental condition.

Anyone who has seen Riley is asked to call Detroit Police Criminal Investigations at 313-596-5240.
