Energizer Recalls 260K Night Lights Sold Through Target Stores

DETROIT (WWJ) - It's a big recall by Energizer.

The company is recalling 260,000 of its rotating night lights, sold exclusively at Target nationwide.

The lights can overheat and smoke, posing a burn hazard to consumers.

There have been nine reports of the lights overheating, including three reports of minor property damage. However, there have been no injuries so far.

The Energizer Battery website tells customers to unplug the recalled night lights immediately.

The recalled Energizer night light is Model NLPLROT.

You can call (800) 383-7323 and Energizer will provide you with a prepaid mailing label, which you can use to
return your nightlight. Upon receipt of your nightlight, Energizer will mail you a coupon in the amount of $7.00.
