DETROIT (WWJ) – Tickets will be available beginning Monday for five free Detroit Symphony Orchestra concerts under an arts initiative sponsored by the DTE Energy Foundation called “DSO in your community.”

Five Detroit-area venues were selected where the celebrated orchestra will perform for the community from a pool of nearly 100 venues nominated this summer.

Performance sites include: Anchor Bay High School in St. Clair County, Clarkston High School in Oakland County, Mount Clemens High School in Macomb County, Pioneer High School in Washtenaw County and Wayne Memorial High School in Wayne County.

The five concerts will take place September 19-23. The schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, Sept. 19, 7:30 p.m. – Mt. Clemens High School, 155 Cass Ave., Mt. Clemens

Thursday, September 20, 7:30 p.m. – Clarkston High School, 6595 Waldon Road, Clarkston

Friday, September 21, 8 p.m. – Anchor Bay High School, 6319 County Line Road, Ira

Saturday, September 22, 8 p.m. – Wayne Memorial High School, 3001 4th St., Wayne

Sunday, September 23, 3 p.m. – Pioneer High School, 601 W. Stadium Blvd., Ann Arbor
