Windsor Assembly Plant Workers Vote To Support Strike

WINDSOR, Ontario (WWJ) – Windsor Assembly Plant workers have voted almost unanimously in support of a strike.

Sunday’s totals were 99-percent in favor of walking off the job as a way to back workers’ contact demands. The contract for Canadian Auto Workers Local 444 expires in mid-September.

In early October, the CAW will announce which of the Big 3 automakers the union will target first in talks.
