EAST LANSING (CBS Detroit) - College mascots are showing some Carly Rae Jepsen love.

No doubt you’ve heard Jepsen’s smash summer hit “Call Me Maybe” about a thousand times so far, and you’ve probably seen (or at least have heard of) all the spoof videos to go along with it.

From the Miami Dolphins’ cheerleaders to the 2012 USA Olympic Swimming Team — and even “Sesame Street’s” Cookie Monster — each spoof tries to top the one before it.

Well, good luck this time.

Seven mascots from the Big Ten came together to create their video version of “Call Me Maybe” and many are saying Michigan State University’s beloved Sparty steals the show.

The Big Ten Network said they invited every B1G mascot to participate, but only seven appear in the video. Illinois, Indiana and Michigan didn’t participate because they don’t have big, fuzzy school reps, and Northwestern and Purdue simply declined the invitation.
