3rd Arrest In Waterford Roller Rink Shooting
WATERFORD (WWJ) - Police have arrested a third suspect in connection with a shooting at a skating rink last winter that injured five people.
Authorities found 18-year-old Robert Lee German on Thursday, hiding under a bed at his mom's house in Pontiac.
Police believe German and two other gunmen walked into the Rolladium rink in Waterford last December and sprayed the crowd of young people gathered there with bullets. They believe the shooting stemmed from tensions between two Pontiac-based gangs.
The other Pontiac teens involved Cheyenne Ingram and Tre-Andis Jamison have been convicted for their roles in the shooting.
Investigators continue to seek tips in the case. Anyone who witnessed the incident, or had any information regarding it, is asked to call the Waterford Police Department at 248-618-7531.
