DETROIT (WWJ) – Oakland County’s chief medical examiner is expected to recover fully after suffering a heart attack while giving testimony in Wayne County Circuit Court.

Dr. L.J. Dragovic is said to be in stable condition this morning. He was testifying in a second-degree murder case on Thursday when he collapsed. Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy issued a statement last night saying “Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Dragovic and his family. Nothing is more important than his health at this time.”
