Multiple Injury Accident Shuts Down I-75
DETROIT (WWJ) - At least three people were hurt in a rollover accident Wednesday afternoon that had a major freeway backed up for hours.
Motorists headed home during the afternoon commute faced a five-mile backup along northbound I-75 north of Holbrook near
Hamtramck following the multi-vehicle crash that occurred at around 4 p.m.
Detroit EMS confirmed that three people were taken to Children's and Detroit Receiving hospitals, but their conditions were not immediately known.
No details are available about the victims as an accident investigation continues.
The freeway reopened to traffic at around 7 p.m.
