Here’s our new feature with Pat Caputo and Dennis Fithian, who will do a two- minute sports talk blitz web video every Friday. This week the guys tackled the Michigan vs. Air Force game.
DETROIT (97.1 The Ticket) Despite what’s considered an embarrassing loss to Alabama last week, Pat Caputo thinks the University of Michigan football team will roll over Air Force this weekend.
“They will play mad,” Caputo said.
And Fithian agreed, saying, “Late in that game I wouldn’t want to be Air Force. I think Michigan will win by more than 21.”
Moving on to the Michigan State and Central Michigan game Caputo thinks, “Central is probably just happy to have a game in Mount Pleasant.” Fithian predicts the score will be 38-13 in both college games.
As for the NFL, the Lions take on the Rams Sunday at Ford Field and Caputo doesn’t think too highly of the Rams starting QB Sam Bradford.
“The Rams don’t have good receivers and I don’t think that much of Sam Bradford,” Caputo said.
Fithian added he picked the Lions in the CBS Sports Knockout Pool so they better come up as the winner.
