U-M Fans Hopeful About Air Force Prospects

ANN ARBOR (WWJ/97.1 The Ticket) Will the University of Michigan exact football revenge Saturday after the beating they took from Alabama last Saturday?

The verdict is out, but fans are hopeful.

Lemu Coker,  a second year MBA student at U-of-M, thinks the Wolverines will show marked improvement during this weekend's game.

"For one, I just think we need to get Fitzgerald Toussaint back, our starting running back, so our running game should be a little stronger," Coker said. "There were some dropped passes last week so I think if the wide receivers work on bringing in the ball and getting first downs, I think we're going to be in good shape. The defense did all right last week, but we're always going to get better."

Pat Caputo, show host for 97.1 The Ticket, agrees, saying in his first "two-minute football blitz" web video on CBS Detroit that U-M is going to roll over rival Air Force.

"They will play mad," Caputo said.
