Big Brother 14 Episode 26 Breakdown: Fight, Flight or Fright?

I can honestly say I had so many different emotions watching this episode. However one thing is clear; Dan Gheesling is controlling this game like he was coaching his football team Orchard Lake St. Mary's to the championship game. I'm surprised at how he can still manipulate these houseguest. I will go out on a limb and say Dan can just guarantee himself a check for Big Brother again. However the amount is still up in the air, whether that be for winning, being runner-up or being America's Favorite Player. Here's how I broke down last night's episode.

Ian's Survival Guide

I was a bit surprised to hear Dan really wanted to get Ian out, but it had all made sense hearing the conversations that went on during the live show, which we as the view obviously missed out on Thursday, but not last night. It made sense why he did it and Dan is again fighting for his own safety. Did anyone else feel like the POV competition was heavily favored for Ian? It was a puzzle/maze challenge and Ian's "photographic," memory definitely gave him a bit of an edge against this other houseguests. Then he goes in and wins the following week's HOH after Dan's Fast Forward HOH. Which, funny enough, Dan predicted during the live show.

Danielle's Choice

This girl is a bit of a hot mess. Danielle plays way too much on her emotions rather than strategy. She mentions being thrown under the bus by Dan three times. If Danielle hates being thrown under why didn't she do something about it. If Danielle was smart she would evict her coach at thier next chance because then she'd actually be in contention to win the show. Danielle definitely has a fan in her former coach but when it comes to explaining why she has played the better game than Ian, Danielle will breeze by with Shane or Jenn. I can't wait to see who she eventually chooses if she wins the final HOH to determine who she'd take to the finale.

One Too Many Pandora's Boxes

Does anyone else feel this way? Last time I checked mythology, there was only one of these boxes, but apparently in the Big Brother House there are multiple. It was quite funny to see Ian suffer and get "love support" and "game advice" from season 12 & winner of season 13, Rachel. In typical fashion she kept it about herself as well as the one and only man, Brendon. Fun fact, Brenchel finally tied the knot, congrats to the couple. It was nice to see the other houseguestss loved ones. How cool was it to see Chelsea Gheesling cheering on her hubby Dan. Does anyone else think Chelsea has an amazing voice? It could be on radio or tv and an added bonus she can sing. It was good to see Dan open up with REAL emotions in the Big Brother House. What would have been even crazier if Chelsea was in on some strategy and made the video cryptic to possibly help Dan in the game. Knowing Big Brother they were probably ahead of that and made sure the houseguests' loved ones knew the situations rather than hear through "rumors."

My Houseguests Rankings

1. Ian - He's safe for this week and is in the final four. We'll see if he can make it to the finale.
2. Dan - He may be safe this week but with the POV competition coming up he may be the next houseguest sent packing to Jury House.
3. Danielle - Floating away. But, she did do one thing -- she save her "showmance," Shanielle.
4. Jenn - Apparently the "pawn" but the "pawn" may turn to actually be the houseguest evicted.
5. Shane - On the chopping block and unknowingly the target for this week. He was the target from Dan but Danielle saved him.

My POV Prediction

Shane will somehow win this because he was so close to winning the last HOH and usually the POV will be a more physical challenge than mental, unless they do a quiz, which they've already done from the last HOH competition. The replacement nominee should be Dan, however will be more likely Danielle. Putting her up on the block again for the fourth time.

Tune in at 8 p.m. to CBS 62 Detroit to see a special eviction night and see who wins POV. Three more episodes left. How crazy is that? Summer is coming to a close and so is the Big Brother house. Let's continue to hope for another season and more Michiganders on the show.
