Schizophrenic Wyandotte Man Missing Since Saturday Is Found

WYANDOTTE (WWJ) - A mentally ill Wyandotte man who went missing Saturday morning was reportedly found Tuesday afternoon at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital.

His condition is unknown.

Police said Jeffery Harbin, 53, a resident of Hill Support Service Group Home on Oak Street, left on his bicycle to get breakfast at a local restaurant and didn't return.

Harbin, who is schizophrenic, has been reported missing in the past but has always returned to the home within several hours.

Harbin is five feet, 11 inches tall with blue eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing khaki pants, a grey and blue t-shirt and white shoes with a black and red insignia. He was carrying a black backpack and riding a red large-framed bicycle.

Police said Harbin is non-violent. He has no known family or close friends.
