DETROIT (WWJ) - The Lentine Group has cut the ribbon – officially opening its Detroit Center of Operations, in a 32,000 square foot family owned building on Trumble street near Wayne State University.

Relocating from Redford to the city of Detroit, Anthony Lentine vice president of LeCom Inc. and the dental insurance provider Golden Dental Plans talked to WWJ’s Pat Sweeting about the new jobs coming to the city.

“We transferred 100 jobs from Redford, and by the end of the year we should be at 200. We have already hired 50 and we are training another 50,” said Lentine.

The new hires will be trained in voice, video data and security installation services for Xfinity said Lentine.

“Great news, it represents a hundred current jobs, with the possibility of a hundred additional jobs and in particular it in the software engineering and cabling and that’s were we are trying to move this industry, and the industries within the city of Detroit,” said Deputy Mayor Kirk Lewis.

Housed in the building is Golden Dental Plans marketing department in UnionCircle.com, LeCom Communications and LeCom Utilities contractors.
