Heading out to tailgate before the game is great. But while there, everyone must know you are a Lions fan. There is no better way to show this than by dressing up your vehicle.

With the Lions on the road this week playing the San Francisco 49ers at 8 p.m., you will have time to add some “bling” to your tailgating ride before the game. Finding what you need is as easy as going to the Lions store at Ford Field or by going online to the official Detroit Lions fan store. Regardless of which route you take, you know you will be buying official gear.

Detroit Lions Flag – $40

First on the list of “must haves” is the Detroit Lions Flag. Everyone will recognize this 3×5-foot beauty with the team helmet on a field of blue when it is put on display at your tailgate. Just add a pole and with it flying proud, all will be able to find your party.

Detroit Lions Tailgater Mat – $150

Add a little class to the area around your tailgate party or in the bed of your pickup with the official Tailgater Mat. This 5×6-foot polyester carpet features a non-slip backing and proudly displays the team’s logo on the front. Best of all, it is one of those items (like the flag) that you can have on display year round at home to show your pride for the team.

Lions Seat Covers – $35

Add some sleek comfort to the interior or your car or truck with a Lions seat cover. Not only will it add cushion, but you’re team spirit will be on display wherever your car is parked.

Lions Decals – $8

If you don’t want to dish out a lot of cash but want everyone on the road to know you’re a Lions fan, consider these peel-off decals. For the low cost of $8, you get a five-piece set that can be moved from car to car or stuck to just about any glass surface.

Lions 8×8-inch Die Cut Color Decal – $15

Want something a little more permanent than the decals in the five-piece set? If so, go with this large 8×8-inch color decal. With this on the window, there is no doubt which team you follow. Also, being a permanent decal, you won’t have to worry about anyone in the house “borrowing” it for their car.

Fuzzy Dice – $6

It may be a blast from the past, but how can you go wrong with the official, sanctioned Lions fuzzy dice? Hang them from your mirror and along with the decals and seat covers, you have it covered.

Lions Antenna Topper – $5

Forget those weird cactus or smiley-face antenna toppers. Instead, go for the Detroit Lions topper that will dress up that bland antenna and may even help you hear the games on the radio a bit better.

Lions Trailer Hitch Cover – $15

There are some truly strange hitch covers out there that say a lot about the driver, but with the Lions hitch cover, there will be no doubt about what you are. You are a Detroit Lions fan.
