WWJ's 'Missing In The Metro:' Kalisha Madden

They're gone in a flash, one minute here, whisked away the next, leaving behind a maddening series of questions and speculation — and heartbreak. WWJ 950 is shining a light on long-missing people reported to the Detroit Police Department in the hope it will spark someone to remember something they saw and never reported. These are our missing, gone but not forgotten.

DETROIT (WWJ) - Twenty-six year old Kalisha Madden has been missing for eight months, her mother, Pamela Johnson said her daughter was an exotic dancer; not a life she would have chosen for her, but she accepted it because she loved her.

"Word is in the streets is that she is deceased and she is buried in Detroit," said Johnson.

She said her daughter was last seen at Club Vegas on Michigan Ave.  in Detroit , she left with a man she had just met at about 2:30 a.m.

Kalisha is a black woman with a medium skin-tone, she's 4 feet 11 inches - weighing about 160 pounds.

Johnson said her daughter has six kids who have fond memories of a terrific mother.

"She was bright, she was funny ... she liked to make you laugh, whenever she came she was the life of the party," her mom said.

Johnson is now raising her six grandchildren.
