Pontiac Woman Arrested After Ketchup-Squirting Attack

TROY (WWJ) – A woman who Troy police say squirted ketchup at a 7-Eleven clerk was taken into custody after officers realized she had two outstanding traffic warrants for her arrest.

Police said it happened early Wednesday morning at the 7-Eleven store on Crooks Road near Big Beaver.

Police said the 29-year-old customer, a Pontiac resident, got upset that the store did not have hot sauce for her nachos.

The clerk chose not to press charges in the ketchup assault but did ask that the woman leave the store.

No names have been released.
