Gridiron Grub: Dip Into the Taste of Buffalo

Whether you’re at home watching the game with a group of people or claiming space on the asphalt outside the stadium, everyone wants to fill up on a rare food indulgence that comes with the coveted football season. If you’re looking for a surefire crowd pleaser, All-American Buffalo Chicken Dip is the way to go. Every time this makes a cameo appearance during the season, it’s always the first to get scarfed up by fans. And that includes chicks who are watching their figure.

While it has been showing up more frequently at parties and parking lots, no two buffalo chicken dips are ever the same. Here’s how to do it right my friends.

All-American Buffalo Chicken Dip
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 30-35 minutes
Difficulty Level: Easy

Ingredients:

  • Two 8-ounce cans of Tyson’s chicken
  • Two 8-ounce packages of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of ranch dressing

Follow this procedure exactly for optimal results. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Empty the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl and blend together with the hot sauce using a fork. Mix in the ranch dressing and cheddar cheese. With a fork, shred the chicken while it’s still in the can and then add it to the mixture. Stir thoroughly for at least a minute before spreading the contents in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

All that’s left to do is place that pan of heavenly dip in the oven for 30-35 minutes, lick the bowl and all of a sudden, every one of your friends will think you’re a master chef. Let the dip sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.

*Note: The one item you have some playing room with is the chicken. Feel free to add more or less depending on your preference. Also, Tostitos multi-grain scoops are an ideal dipping tool.
