This week on Michigan Matters, Host Carol Cain talks with Focus: Hope CEO William Jones about the organization that rose from the ashes of the Detroit riots 40 years ago in a bid to change things and is still going strong. It’s Focus Hope.

Janet Blair of Tri County Business Exchange joins him to explain their “Dancing with the Local Stars” fundraiser for Focus: Hope, Then, Beth Stewart, executive director of the Michigan Philharmonic, talks music and more in the second segment.

Finally, a panel of high powered women tackle the roundtable issues as Jeanne Fowler, founder of Big Family of Michigan; Denise Ilitch, CEO of Ilitch Enterprises; and Shuntai Beaugard, Michigan  Executive Director of Global Women’s Summit stop by the set.
