AL:Baltimore over Texas

NL: Atlanta over St Louis

ALDS: Detroit over Oakland in five

ALDS: NY over Baltimore

ALCS: NY over Detroit in six

NLDS: SF over Cinci

NLDS: Wash over ATL

NLCS: Wash over San Fran

WS: New York over Wash in six

Picking Michigan and Michigan State: 4-5

Michigan -2.5 @ Purdue: Purdue could be the best team in the Big Ten. Good receivers and impressive defensive tackles could be enough for the upset for the Boilers. UM has had two weeks to prepare. Denard Robinson, having a difficult senior season,  finds a way in the end. I wouldn’t be surprised if this one went to overtime.

Prediction: Michigan 35 Purdue 33

Michigan State -14 @ Indiana: If the Spartans can’t cover this game there won’t be any need for any more questions this year about MSU.

Prediction: Michigan State 27 Indiana 10

College football best bests: 3-2

Wisconsin -14 vs Illinois: Fighting Illini look pretty toothless this season.

Prediction: Wisconsin 38 Illinois 13

Notre Dame vs Miami (Fl): Irish looking to make a statement and should tack on some extra points late.

Prediction: ND 30 Miami 13

Georgia +1.5 @ South Carolina: Great matchup. Dogs offense is more balanced. Georgia’s Aaron Murray will be a starter in the NFL. Looks like Georgia has a couple young backs that will join Murray in the pros.

Prediction: Georgia 40  S.Carolina 35

UTEP -2.5 vs SMU: Two bad football teams clash in the Sun Bowl. Miners prevail with just enough of a passing game over the Mustangs.

Prediction: UTEP 38 SMU 31

Detroit Lions season predictions: 1-3

Pro best bets season: 5-4

Pittsburgh -3 vs Philadelphia: Steelers are 1-2 and are at home against a 3-1 Philly team. Steelers have to have this game. Eagles are fortunate to be 3-1.

Prediction: Pittsburgh 24 Philadelphia 20

Cincinnati -4 vs Miami: Bengals are looking good on offense and are at home. Dolphins can keep it close but will lose.

Prediction: Cincinnati 30 Miami 27

San Francisco -9 vs Buffalo: Bills running game has taken a hit. 49ers defense will be too much.

Prediction: San Francisco 31 Buffalo 17

Carolina -3 vs Seattle: Cam Newton and the Panthers should be frustrated with the way they keep losing close ballgames. Carolina stays in games then blows it at the end. This has been the two year pattern. Newton makes sure the Seahawks can’t find any late game magic.
