INKSTER (WWJ) - Inkster police are looking for a gunman after a 31-year-old man was found shot to death Saturday morning.

Police say the incident happened on Magnolia Street, between Inkster and Michigan Avenue, sometime before 3:15 a.m.

A witness told police the victim was getting into a car when the gunman walked up behind him and opened fired before running away from the area.

When officers arrived, they discovered the victim dead with multiple gunshot wounds. His name was not immediately released.

The search for the suspect continues.
