Missing In The Metro: Tamela Wells

They're gone in a flash, one minute here, whisked away the next, leaving behind a maddening series of questions and speculation — and heartbreak. WWJ 950 is shining a light on long-missing people reported to the Detroit Police Department in the hope it will spark someone to remember something they saw and never reported. These are our missing, gone but not forgotten.

DETROIT (WWJ) Tamela Wells, 29, was last seen at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 6, 2012 in the  19700 block of Appleton. She was driving her vehicle, a white, four-door Pontiac Grand Prix.

Her car has been recovered, but she is still missing.

There's no evidence of a crime, but no one has heard from or seen her since, which makes no sense to friends, family and her boyfriend Rickey Tennant.

Wells is 5 foot-6 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, has brown eyes, black hair, and medium complexion. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, and blue jean shorts with a cuff.  She is in good mental and physical condition.

If anyone has seen Tamela Wells, please contact the Criminal Investigations at 313-596-5240.
