After 5 weeks of the picks on the show Stoney holds the lead with a record of 14 and 11 overall. Bill currently has a record of 10 and 15. Last week the boys both went 2 and 3. So can week 6 help Bill make up some ground on Stoney. Take a look at their picks below and tell us what you think.

Bill’s Picks

Michigan -23 hosting Illinois

Michigan is ranked 25th in the country after their convincing win over Purdue last week. Illinois is the Wolverines homecoming opponent this year and they’ve been outscored 118-45 in their last three games. So long as they don’t look ahead to Michigan State next week, Michigan should have no problem covering this week. Take Michigan

Michigan State -10 hosting Iowa

Someone better remind the Spartans that the game doesn’t begin after halftime. Last week they were losing 27-14 at the half against Indiana and looked disorganized doing so. I think MSU will win but they will not cover. Take Iowa and the points.

Notre Dame -7.5 hosting Stanford

This is a tough one. While I can’t stand the Irish (The school, not the people), their defense is pretty awesome. And QB Josh Nunes is making the Stanford faithful feel…eh, not so bad, about Andrew Luck’s departure to the NFL. It pains me to say this but, take Notre Dame, giving the points.

Philadelphia -4 hosting Detroit

So many questions…Did the ‘anonymous GM’ comments fire the Lions up this week? Will the tandem of Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson finally connect for at least one TD on Sunday, and will it be enough? Will Michael Vick hold onto the ball? Will this season essentially end for the Lions if they lose? Pretty tough to come back from 1-4, especially when your next game is against the Bears on Monday Night in Chicago. Out of necessity, I’m taking the Lions and the points.

Houston -4 hosting Green Bay

I wish I had the same confidence in the Lions resilience as I do for the Packer’s. Green Bay is 2-3 on the season and they could bounce back. That being said, I picked the Texans to go to the Super Bowl so I have to go with Houston to win at home and remain undefeated.

Stoney’s Picks

Michigan -23 hosting Illinois

Illinois is horrible, but will make enough plays to cover the number…Michigan wins by 20
ILLINOIS and the points

Michigan State -10 hosting Iowa

This is not a vintage Iowa team, but Michigan State has only played one complete game all season and that was against CMU….Spartans win, but not by enough
IOWA and the points

Notre Dame -7.5 hosting Stanford

Are the Irish legitimately a great team. Stanford did beat USC, but needed overtime to beat Rich Rod..I believe in the Irish..take the Golden Domers and lay the points..
NOTRE DAME laying the 7.5

Philadelphia -4 hosting Detroit

Lions need this to salvage the season. Vick has been a turnover machine. The Lions dont force turnovers and the lose again…
EAGLES laying the points

Houston -4 hosting Green Bay

Many people picked these two to play in the Super Bowl.. Green Bay is due for a great game. Texans will miss Brian Cushing.I like the underdog
PACKERS and the points
