Gas Prices Down Again This Week

DETROIT (WWJ/AP) - Gas prices are continuing their downward trend.

AAA Michigan says prices at the pump have fallen approximately 14 cents during the past week to a statewide average of about $3.77 per gallon. The auto club says the average is about 29 cents per gallon more than last year at this time.

Of the cities it surveys, AAA Michigan said the cheapest price for self-serve unleaded fuel is in the Benton Harbor and Flint areas, where it's about $3.71 a gallon. The highest average is in the Marquette area at about $3.81.

Dearborn-based AAA Michigan surveys 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily.
