DETROIT (WWJ) - Police said two students were sent to the hospital following a crash that involved a Detroit school bus.

It happened Wednesday afternoon at Plymouth and Meyers Road on Detroit’s west side as the bus was carrying 13 students to Mackenzie Pre K-8 school.

Reporting live over the scene in Chopper 950, WWJ’s Lance Howard said the ABC Student Transportation bus t-boned a car in that intersection, causing severe damage to the car and only minor damage to the bus.

Police said, along with the two students, the driver and passenger in the car also suffered minor injuries. They said none of the injuries were serious.
