Ypsi Entrepreneurs Seek To Crowdfund 'Healthy Beer'

YPSILANTI -- Take a healthy tea company in Ypsilanti that's now also brewing a healthy beer, add the services of a Midland business incubator and its Traverse City branch office, and you've got a truly statewide entrepreneurial effort.

Oh, and really, really good beer, too.

The Unity Vibration Living Kombucha Tea Co., founded by Rachel and Tarek Kanaan, are gaining support for their "Bring Healthy Beer to the World" campaign through their recent virtual membership with MidMichigan Innovation Center.

The MMIC is a Midland-based private, non-profit organization created to provide entrepreneurs and start-up companies a supportive and collaborative environment. They help entrepreneurs like Unity Vibration win financial and operational support.

They've also helped Unity Vibration launch a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.com for their microbrewery, which the company says combines ancient health elixirs with artisan oak-barrel-aged beer. Their mission? To get people to consider Kombucha Beer as a healthy drinking alternative.

For company and product information, go to www.unityvibrationskombucha.com  or view their YouTube video at http://igg.me/p/245388. Or, visit www.indiegogo.com/healthybeer.
