SOUTH LYON, Mich. (WWJ) – A hunter from South Lyon has died in Mid-Michigan.
The 63-year-old man was found by his son in the Shiawassee State Game Area on Sunday while duck hunting. His son spotted him in the water in the northern portion of the game reserve, near Saint Charles, about 85 miles northwest of Detroit.
The man was taken to a Saginaw hospital where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy is being conducted to determine what caused the man’s death.
