U-M Wins Final Exhibition Game 76-48 Vs. Saginaw Valley State
ANN ARBOR (97.1 THE TICKET) - Returning from a one-game suspension Trey Burke had eight assists in the 76- 48 preseason win over Saginaw Valley State on Monday.
Burke, a Michigan All-American point guard, began the season with a view from the bench due to a violation of team standards according to the school.
Freshman Mitch McGary had a strong showing playing 20 minutes and nabbing 10 rebounds in the exhibition win at Crisler Center.
U-M continued its winning ways after beating Northern Michigan 83-47 on Friday.
The season opener for Michigan will be Friday against Slippery Rock at Crisler Center - tip off at 8:30 p.m. You can hear all the game action on WWJ Newsradio 950.
