Michigan -10 1/2 vs Northwestern
Who will be behind center for the Wolverines? That is the question. Personally I don't think it makes that much of a difference because the Wildcats offense will keep this game close. Northwestern is also 6-1 against the spread when coming off an against the spread win. Michigan wins the game but wont cover
PICK NORTHWESTERN
Nebraska -7 vs Penn State
Michigan fans will be cheering their butts off for the Nittany Lions,but it won't matter. Nebraska is almost unbeatable in Lincoln and if that is not enough try out this trend for size. Penn State is 5-17 against the spread in road games when they give up 9 or fewer points the week before. Last week was one of those weeks, giving up nine in their blowout at Purdue.
PICK NEBRASKA
Wisconsin -7 at Indiana
It's hard to believe that if Indiana wins out they will play in the Rose Bowl. Obviously they benefit from the ineligibility of Penn State and Ohio State. I know Wisconsin is not the the Wisconsin of years gone by and I know Indiana does have a great offense. I just can't pick Indiana in any big game that does not involve a basketball
PICK WISCONSIN
Lions -2 1/2 at Vikings
The Lions opened up as a point favorite and now they have been bet up to 2 1/2. I am sure this has something to do with the availability of Percy Harvin, who is currently listed as day to day.The trend favors the Vikings as The Lions are 0-6 against the spread when playing a team with a winning record the second half of the season the last two seasons. However,they have won two in a row and with the heavy steam on the Lions, I have to follow the money.

Bears -1 vs Texans
Clarence "Peanut "Tillman will miss the game if his wife goes into labor before the game. That could be huge, but since we don't know when she will give birth all bets are off. I think that at home the Bears will be able to pull out the win. But there is one trend I want you to keep in mind. Over the last two seasons the Texans are 17-4 against the spread on grass fields over the last two years. That said. The Bears win and cover.
