ANN ARBOR — CareTech Solutions, an IT and Web products and services company for more than 200 U.S. hospitals, Monday introduced a new version of its health care CMS package, CareWorks at the 16th Annual Greystone.Net Healthcare Internet Conference in Las Vegas.
“Having to work from very limited resources has hampered hundreds of smaller hospitals from running their organization’s Web site from a robust content management system,” said John McLeod, senior director for Web products and services at CareTech. “With our new CMS out-of-the-box option, hospitals with limited marketing dollars can now afford the essential healthcare CMS features and functions needed to portray a professional image online, for a substantially lower cost.”
CareWorks, the company’s health care content management system, is used by more than 150 hospital Web sites from coast to coast. The CMS package includes self-service modules, website hosting and performance monitoring, and access to around-the-clock help desk support.
