NOVI (WWJ) – Hundreds of Novi Community Middle School kids were thrilled to visit the Nation’s Capital. But the trip was cut short after many of the students and chaperons became sick with a stomach virus.

It’s suspected one person may have contracted the illness and it spread to others quickly.

Over 300 students went to tour the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Memorial, and the Arlington National Cemetery.
