They're gone in a flash, one minute here, whisked away the next, leaving behind a maddening series of questions and speculation — and heartbreak.WWJ 950 is shining a light on long-missing people reported to the Detroit Police Departmentin the hope it will spark someone to remember something they saw and never reported. These are our missing, gone but not forgotten.

DETROIT (WWJ) Shayna Saine Garcia, 15, ran away to her aunt's home in March. She stopped going to school, and according to her mother Veronica, had an unhealthy relationship -- and now she's gone.

Veronica Saine alleges her daughter had relations with her sister's son, and got pregnant with her cousin. The teen was kicked out of her aunt's house, police found her and returned her to her mother, but after Saine insisted on DNA testing, her daughter took off.

"She was just real upset, and the doctor came in and said he could better than that, and do an amniocentesis test before she even had a baby," Saine said.

That was July, and the last time she saw her daughter.

"I haven't heard from my daughter, there's no activity on her computer ... I don't know if my daughter is dead or alive," Saine said.

Shayna is black and Mexican, her Mom says she looks Mexican. She has long straight black hair, some acne...a nose ring in the right side of her nose ... She is 5 foot 3 inches tall, 135 to 145 pounds.
